Yes, practice recall at least twice to reinforce your memory and enhance your ability to recall information during the exam.
The PLAB-1 exam consists of 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) designed to assess your medical knowledge.
There is no exact passing mark for PLAB-1. The passing criteria depend on the difficulty level of the exam and typically range from 110 to 130. Success is relative to the overall performance of candidates in a given exam session.
he primary changes appear to be related to the quality assurance and construction of the test. One significant change mentioned is the replacement of the PLAB blueprint with the MLA content map to meet MLA requirements. The MLA content map will outline the core knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed for UK medical practice. However, it is emphasized that PLAB already covers these areas, so candidates should not experience a significant shift in their preparations for or experience of taking the test.
